Weekly News 6th November

Hi all,
Sorry for no email last week but I was still sulking about not winning LPS. This competition will return in the new year, so time to get studying the form. Thanks again Mark for organising.

Here is the latest news
AGM
Due to Covid restrictions our AGM which was due to be held in December has been postponed until further notice.

Covid Update
We are all very grateful that our children can still train every week during these level 5 restrictions. It is essential for the children to be able to get out in the fresh air, have fun, see their friends and have some normality during these tough times. Following our executive meeting we are asking all parents/guardians to wear masks when dropping off and collecting children and if you are around the pitch at the weekends. We would like to continue to keep all our members safe and healthy.

Stay safe, wash your hands and wear a mask.
Please continue to complete the Return to play the day of each session. This must be shown to your Covid supervisor.

Last Person Standing
Well done to Greg O’Leary taking the honours as the 2020 Last Person Standing with Liverpool clinching it for him!

Thank you all for supporting this fundraiser – 74 participants raised €740 for the club.

Finally, thanks again to Resync Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic for sponsoring the prize.  As an essential service they remain open so if you need some assistance, think about the local businesses who support the club, and give them a shout.

Team of the Week:
A big thank to everyone who dressed up last Thursday for Halloween, a big mention to the U8 coaches who also got dressed up and enjoyed the fun.
And this great coaching team and players were the only group to turn up on a cold Sunday morning at 10am in Glencullen after a night of trick and treating.

Training: As above, continues on non contact basis.
Nursery:  Training every Saturday.
Kids born in 2015 and 2016 will train in the Hurling wall section from 9.45 to 10.30 while those born in 2013 and 2014 will train from 10 to 10.45.
All parents bringing their kids to this need to have both the questionnaire and e-learning course done for Covid.

Again, with the groups, we have to split the times for the kids.
U11 and up – train 7pm to 8pm.
U10 down – train 7 to 7.50pm.
