Weekly news – 25th June 2021

Hi all,

Here is the news for the week:

New Members: RECRUIT, RECRUIT and RECRUIT are so key for our club. Can we all please promote the club in the coming weeks and let your group of friends / school WhatsApp groups that we are back training and playing matches. Please also like and share our great Social Media posts completed by Brian. There are lots of posts of different teams with their great results to date.  Can all parents please try and recruit one new member each?

Training: Continues as normal this week.

Games: Best of luck to all the teams playing this weekend, again another busy weekend, starting tonight with the U9 girls playing their first competitive Camogie match. As above, we have a lot of games on the pitch Saturday morning so appreciate if everyone can start on time, and therefore finish on time and be off the pitch for the next group. NB: It is important that all players must wear mouthguards for all training sessions and matches. I would recommend having spares in the car, that what I do as my kids are always forgetting them plus their water.

Award of the week: Goes to Lola and Millie Maguire, from U9 and Academy (u6), who got their hair chopped this week for the Little Princess Trust and Laura Lynn (nearly 14 inches each!). Here is the link in case anyone wants to sponsor the girlshttps://www.idonate.ie/LolaandMillieMaguire864

Forecast 5 update:AllannahK is still leading the Month of June with a score of 32 points. Im have back down the table to 7th place. Its all very tight at the top. Best of luck to all.
