Due to Covid restrictions our AGM which was due to be held in December has been postponed until further notice.

A big thank you to all on this year’s Exec for all the work you did this year, and of course over the years. So many hours go into the running of our great club. If you are interested in helping out next year, please let us know. More hands makes less work.

Covid Update
We are all very grateful that our children can still train every week during these level 5 restrictions. It is essential for the children to be able to get out in the fresh air, have fun, see their friends and have some normality during these tough times. Following our executive meeting we are asking all parents/guardians to wear masks when dropping off and collecting children and if you are around the pitch at the weekends. We would like to continue to keep all our members safe and healthy.

Stay safe, wash your hands and wear a mask. Please continue to complete the Return to play the day of each session. This must be shown to your Covid supervisor.

Training: As above, continues on non contact basis.
Nursery:  Training every Saturday.
Kids born in 2015 and 2016 will train in the Hurling wall section from 9.45 to 10.30 while those born in 2013 and 2014 will train from 10 to 10.45.
All parents bringing their kids to this need to have both the questionnaire and e-learning course done for Covid.

If you have any questions in relation to this, you can easily contact Gavin on 083 009 9150 or email him on Gavin.weir.gpo.dublin@gaa.ie.

Juvenile: Every Thursday evening in all the all weather pitch in Stepaside.
Normally training in Stepaside ends at the end of November but we have extended it to 17th December, so thanks to Brian for organising this. Another example of the great work our Exec Committee does behinds the scenes.

Again, with the groups, we have to split the times for the kids.
U11 and up – train 7pm to 8pm.
U10 down – train 7 to 7.50pm.

Special thanks
A big thank you to all the coaches, parents and kids for continuing to turn up to training this late in the year, its great to see so many turning up.
I was up at the pitch Saturday morning and the car park was full again which is a great sign of our great nursery team.
