Weekly news 16th December

Hi all,
We are down to the last weeken6 of training and the Championship this week.
A great win for Limerick in the Hurling, they never looked in trouble and were deserved winners. Congrats to all our Limerick members.

As for the Foot6all Championship this wee6end, I have finally being getting some a6use from the Du6s fans regarding my lack of love for them. Its goo6 to see they have finally woken up.
So to keep things fair, see attached pic regarding the poor Mayo fans.
As my last prediction, like most this year, have been incorrect, I am going for a Du6lin win this wee6end.

Here is the latest news
Annual Christmas Draw: 2 for 1 Special
A big thank to you that have returned sold tickets to date, we got a lot last Thursday and again on Saturday morning.
I have collected some of the envelopes from our group and it was great to see lots of €50’s in them so a big thank you.

Only 3 days left before the big draw. Please bring all remaining tickets on Thursday to training.

The draw is taking place this Saturday at 3pm (for some reason, its on early and there’s a big match on at 5pm) in the car park of the Christmas Tree Farm in Glencullen (right beside our pitch if anyone still needs to get a lovely tree).

If you cant make it and still have sold tickets, the cut off is 9pm Friday night and must be arranged with club legend Mick McDonnell.
Please call him on 087 2461079.

First prize: €2000 cash. Second prize: €1000 cash

With a purchase of each ticket, you are entered into our club draw plus the GAA National Club Draw. Tickets cost €20 each. There are the usual great cash prizes and vouchers to be won. With Covid, you have 2 ways to buy your ticket, online as per link below or from your kids coaches who will be distributing them to you at next training sessions.

You can buy them on this link: https://member.clubforce.com/tickets_m.asp?LL_ID=1319

Nursery:  Is now finished for the year.
We had a surprise visit from Santa and his helpers on a lovely Saturday morning and he visited all the different teams on the pitch and the kids all got a selection box from him.
A lot of happy sugar filled kids left the pitch, sorry parents.

Juvenile: Finishes this Thursday evening in all the all weather pitch in Stepaside.
Please ensure to bring your draw tickets with you.
Again, with the groups, we have to split the times for the kids.
U11 and up – train 7pm to 8pm.
U10 down – train 7 to 7.50pm.

As always please share and like our Social Media posts.

From all at Stars, We will you and yours a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.
Roll on 2021.
