Weekly news 13th May 2021

Hi all
Here is the news for the week:

We are all back TRAINING.
It is great news that all our teams are back training now with the proposal of games starting from 1st week of June onwards.
As you can imagine, this will put our great pitch in great demand for training and now matches.

As stated last week, some of our older teams have started training in Ballyogan. This will continue for the rest of the year.
We will also play matches down there from June onwards. Your coaches will let you know with your groups.
As always, we ask where possible to wear our club colours as this is a great advertisement of the club which will hopefully attract new members.
So get you club colours on and make us proud.

Nursery / Academy Training: This is for kids aged 4 to 7.
Every Saturday morning from 9.45 to 11 at our pitch on Saturday morning. This group will also be using the hurling wall.

As always, this group is the bloodline of any club so we need to continue to grow this group so please spread the news. Please send onto the Nursery WhatsApp group as new members will bring their kids friends with them.

All parents bringing their kids to this need to have the Health Questionnaire done for Covid.

Training:
Our U8 to U11 boys and girls are back at our usual Thursday slot in Stepaside All Weather pitch from 7 to 8.

Adult teams:
Gaelic for Mothers and Others: Will return to training next month.
Adult Women’s Football team: Train every Monday and Wednesday from 7.30 to 8.30 in Glencullen.
Adult Men’s Football team: Train every Tuesday 7.30 to 8.30 in Glencullen.
Adult Men’s Hurling team: Train every Thursday 7.30 to 8.30 in Glencullen.

Award of the week: Goes to U12 boys. They are top of the list in terms of membership paid with 40%. I know teams like the adults teams have only started back this week, so we will give ye a few weeks to catch up 😉.
With games coming up thick and fast, we need everyone to have membership paid asap. These payments go to various GAA bodies for each team, pay for new balls and sliotars, as well as pay for all weather pitch in Stepaside.

Membership
This can now be paid at below link. It would be great to get this paid up asap.
