STARS OF ERIN € 20K DROP – FRIDAY 3RD JUNE 2016
Stars of Erin GAA Club are proud to announce “THE STARS OF ERIN € 20K DROP” – a fundraising event to be held in the TALBOT HOTEL STILLORGAN ON FRIDAY THE 3RD JUNE.
[UPDATE: Tickets are now available at €20 each in Kennedy’s Centra / Flemings Butchers in Stepaside village. Contestants will be chosen from ticket-holders on the night … or nominate a proxy contestant on your ticket for chance to win!]
In previous years, the club has witnessed huge success and raised vital funds from events such as Strictly Stars, Who Wants to be a Thousandaire and, last year – The Kube. This new fundraiser is vital for the club to cover the day-to-day costs associated with the large number of teams within the club.
Consisting of members and players from Glencullen, Stepaside, Kilternan, Sandyford and Dundrum, Stars of Erin GAA Club is believed to have been formed in 1903 and is therefore one of the oldest GAA clubs in Dublin. Currently the club fields 24 teams competing in the Ladies, Mens, Boys and Girls leagues across Football, Hurling and Camogie.
The 20K Drop promises to be another captivating night, and the organising committee are working hard to ensure it is as impressive and professional as previous events.
A launch night for Stars of Erin 20K Drop fundraiser took place in Johnnie Fox’s Pub on Tuesday the 3rd of May.
